BACKGROUND OF THE “Advanced Mattress Core Cleaning” SOLUTION
The idea for the “Advanced Mattress Core Cleaning” solution originated from the real-life experience of a consumer who was constantly seeking to improve health and sleep quality through the use of premium mattresses.
In the search for the most suitable mattress, I had the opportunity to experience a wide range of products, including latex mattresses, spring mattresses, compressed cotton mattresses, and many other options available on the market. It is undeniable that each mattress type offers distinct advantages in terms of comfort, body support, and long-lasting resilience, all of which contribute to a better sleeping experience.
However, after extended use, I realized that most traditional mattresses still have two significant limitations. First, their breathability is often not fully optimized. Second, and more importantly, deep cleaning the mattress core is extremely difficult, if not nearly impossible.
While researching and exploring mattress technology trends in international markets, I came across a solution that has been widely adopted in many Asian countries: 3D fiber technology. This material features a chaotic-flow fiber structure bonded into a solid form resembling a bundle of noodles, creating millions of open spaces throughout the mattress core. Thanks to this unique structure, the mattress provides exceptional airflow, reduces moisture accumulation, and allows for much easier deep cleaning compared to conventional mattress materials.
Based on these practical experiences and extensive research efforts, the “Mattress Core Hygiene” solution was developed with the goal of creating a cleaner, more breathable sleeping environment that better supports users’ health and well-being.

MATERIAL SELECTION AND INNOVATION
Through extensive research into emerging materials and my own hands-on experience with various mattress types, I realized that the choice of core material would be the key factor in bringing the “Advanced Mattress Core Cleaning” solution to life.
After evaluating and testing multiple options, I decided to invest in and adopt POE (Polyolefin Elastomer) as the core material for AirFiber mattresses.
Unlike conventional mattress materials, POE is melted and formed into an open 3D spiral fiber structure. This unique design creates millions of open spaces throughout the mattress core, allowing air to circulate freely and continuously. As a result, the mattress delivers superior breathability, reduces heat and moisture buildup, and enables faster and more effective cleaning and drying.
In addition to its hygiene and ventilation benefits, POE offers excellent resilience and elasticity, providing effective body support while maintaining long-term structural stability. The material helps minimize sagging and deformation, contributing to a longer product lifespan.
The decision to use POE was driven not only by the desire to enhance sleeping comfort but also by the vision of creating a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable sleep solution. This material has become the foundation of the AirFiber mattress, with “Mattress Core Hygiene” serving as its core value and guiding principle.

THE DECISION TO PRODUCE POE MATTRESSES BASED ON THE ADVANCED MATTRESS CORE CLEANING SOLUTION
Through research and real-world experience, we realized that cleaning only the outer mattress cover is not enough to create a truly hygienic sleeping environment. At the same time, deep-cleaning solutions for the mattress core are often expensive, inconvenient, and rarely performed on a regular basis throughout the product’s lifespan.
To create a clean and breathable sleep environment, maintaining the cleanliness of the mattress core is essential. It is within the core that moisture, dust particles, and other contaminants can accumulate over time, potentially affecting overall sleep hygiene.
With this understanding, we decided to develop a POE mattress line centered around the concept of “Mattress Core Hygiene.” Our goal is not only to provide exceptional comfort and body support, but also to deliver a cleaner and more breathable sleeping environment throughout the entire life cycle of the mattress.
We believe that POE material represents an important step forward in the sleep industry, where mattress core hygiene and quality become key selection criteria alongside comfort, durability, and ergonomic support.
AirFiber Vinalon™ mattresses were developed to provide a healthier sleep solution for children, seniors, and individuals who are sensitive to their living environment, helping to improve both sleep quality and long-term well-being.
