Aluminum-coated bubble foam (OPP) is a polyethylene film laminated with a metalized film layer of 12–19 microns, giving it an appearance similar to aluminum foil.
It provides the shiny metallic appearance of aluminum foil while reducing weight and cost.
By laminating one or two layers of MPET (OPP) onto the bubble foam film, the material achieves enhanced durability and resistance to cracking, tearing, and oxidation when exposed to sudden changes in ambient temperature.
APPLICATIONS:
Metalized film is widely used for decorative purposes and food packaging, as well as for specialized applications including insulation and electronics.
It is also used as an insulation material and radiant barrier for residential and commercial buildings.
